We realise that People are the backbone of any organisation and here at Hillrich we like to think ourselves as being ‘People Experts’. The very first thing that people buy are people. Yes, it’s an old phrase, but in sales and marketing, there is none more true. In our opinion, no matter what type of organisation you are, we are ALL in sales, all of the time. Some are just better at it than others.…

So, with that, all we do at Hillrich is centred around people. Be that the Business 2 Business Conferences & Seminars we are running or at the soon-to-be-launched HillrichPeople – where we’ll help other companies to find people relevant to them.

In ‘old money’, Recruitment.

At Hillrich we’re pretty laid back and truly enjoy the work we do. We’re straight with all and expect to be dealt with straight in return. If you have any problems with assertive people, then working with Hillrich is not for you.

We will stick to our end of the bargain and expect all those that work with us to do the same. When we agree to anything, we expect to be held accountable for it from conception to completion. We expect the same in return from any organisation we work with.

When dealing with us, you will probably hear the phrase, “Can you put that on an email for me please?” or “I’ll confirm that on email for you.” This will simply be so both parties know exactly what is expected, by whom and when for. This negates any backtracking and gives all involved transparency from the start.

As an organisation, we have a wide range of skills to draw upon whenever needed.

There are NO STOCK IMAGES used at all. Ever. All testimonials you read are unsolicited i.e. we didn’t ask for them, as that’s just too easy!

DreamStart

DreamStart 2008 was held at the Royal Armouries and included keynotes from The World’s No. 1 Small Business Guru Michael Gerber, founding BBC Dragon Rachel Elnaugh and leading UK Business Wealth Creator Feisal Nahaboo.

Alongside the above was an exhibition hall housing 75 key suppliers to business and unlimited networking opportunities throughout for the 900+ business owners from Yorkshire and beyond.

Kirklees Summit

Run quarterly throughout the year and working on an ‘Invite Only’ basis, Kirklees Summit is run as a panel Question and Answer session, like BBC’s ‘Question Time’. Taking place within the Fantastic Media Suite at the Galpharm Stadium, key Kirklees stakeholders sit on the panel facing an audience of approximately 75 of Kirklees’ most influential business people.

More than seventy key Kirklees business people were in attendance at the first Kirklees Summit, gathered to debate the district’s business climate.

Kirklees Summit is sponsored by Kirklees Council, Fantastic Media, Ramsdens Solicitors and Kirklees Grantmakers’ Alliance. Further Summits will take place in September 2010, November 2010, February 2011 & May 2011.

Yorkshire Business Conferences

hillich is proud to announce Yorkshire Business Conferences, a series of district wide shows made up of the following:

  • Wakefield Business Conference (April 2012)
  • Calderdale Business Conference (May 2012)
  • Bradford Business Conference (June 2012)

  • Kirklees Business Conference (September 2012)
  • Barnsley Business Conference (October 2012)
  • Sheffield Business Conference (November 2012)

The whole purpose of these district-wide Conferences is to bring together large numbers of local businesses and to encourage them to trade with each other more. The result of this is more local capital swimming about each ‘sub-economy’ making it much stronger and hence creating more jobs.

Times are still tight for most and this programme will enable massive numbers of businesses to meet across the whole of Yorkshire, develop a relationship and ultimately trade with other businesses on their ‘doorstep’.

Results: It’s ‘greener’, more cost effective and ensures that the whole relationship is more responsive; as there is less travelling time necessary should it be required. As already mentioned, the most important aspect is the working capital of each area is retained in that area.

Trading on a greater ‘Yorkshire’ scale will also be a by-product as Kirklees’ delegates will visit the Bradford show, Calderdale will visit Sheffield etc etc. This will allow for those services not available in each locality to be sourced at other shows.

Delegates:
All shows are FREE to delegates and will attract around 700 business owners each. and as the shows build over 2012, we expect attendances to be hitting 900+ per show. Each individual Conference is open to any sector of business. Seminars will be offered on a first-come-first-served basis and booked via each stand-alone Conference website. Each Conference starts with a breakfast meeting from 0800 – 1000 and have agreed to work with the UK’s largest joined-up networking body, 4Networking.

Exhibitors:
‘Pods’ and shell schemes are available in 2m x 2m or 3m x 2m sizes & offered on first-come-first-served basis. These is a limit on the number of same sector exhibitors so to allow a wide range of services to be available on the day.

Prices for stands depending on the show range from £349.00 +VAT to £525.00 +VAT. Stands can be booked for the whole programme.
